How to easily remove Ubuntu from dual boot

If you are using Ubuntu OS alongside Windows OS, and for some reason, you need to uninstall Ubuntu and just keep the Windows, here is the easiest way to do so.

If you Google search how to uninstall Ubuntu or how to uninstall Ubuntu from the dual boot, uninstall Ubuntu dual boot, most of the guides will tell you to delete the partition on which Ubuntu is installed and repair the Windows Boot Loader.

However, if you do not follow the steps properly, and if you are not tech-savvy, you may end up with an error, the most common being, Grub Rescue Error.

Trying to solve this Grub Error, you will need to run some command lines. But often it fails to fix it.

We had faced the same issue recently, and while searching for solutions to remove Ubuntu from the dual boot, we came across this easiest way to remove Ubuntu.

Uninstall Ubuntu using EasyBCD

First, login to your Windows OS. And Download EasyBCD. The commercial is priced at 29.95$ while the Non-commercial is free to download.

Install and run EasyBCD. Click on BCD Backup/Repair and click on Re-Create/Repair boot files.

Once you perform the action, restart your computer. You will see that Ubuntu have been removed from the dual boot.

Visit your disk management and delete the partition in which Ubuntu is installed.
